Notice: Our 2026 Quilt Show has been Cancelled!

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Columbia River Gorge Quilt Guild quilt show scheduled for October 2 and 3, 2026, has been cancelled. The Hood River Fairgrounds has been appropriated for a Wildfire Response base camp by the U.S. Forest Service. As county property, the fairgrounds is under obligation to act as a base camp during a declared state of emergency.

We had hoped that the containment of the large fires in our area and the recent rains would allow us to hold the show. The mop up work has taken longer than anticipated and the crews need to leave the Mt Hood Meadows property due to colder weather. Hence, the move to the fairgrounds in Odell.

Our Guild is proud to support the men and women who work so hard to keep our forests and homes safe. The Grasshopper and Austin fires have destroyed over 100,000 acres of our beautiful mountain. It could have been much worse if not for the hardworking fire fighters.

Although we will not have a show in 2026, our planning committee is already working on a show for 2027! More information will be coming out to those who have entered and sponsored this year's show.
