“MULTNOMAH FALLS” by LINDA REICHENBACH

This exhibit presents a collection of quilted artwork revealing personal experiences, impressions, memories and impactful moments of sixteen artists who call this place home. They are all members of the local fiber art group, Beyond the Block: Art Quilters of the Gorge. They have been creating and exhibiting art from fabric and thread for more than a decade, employing a myriad of techniques and artistic styles to bring their inspiring images to life. From landscapes and wildlife to abstract symbolism and interpretations, their work expresses unique glimpses of life in the Gorge.


“Masters of Stitch”

This exhibit features works by four exceptional quilters, all member of the Columbia River Gorge Quilters’ Guild. Made from cotton, wool, or silk, each quilt displays excellent workmanship and expertise in two or more of the primary skills of quiltmaking - piecing, appliqué, embroidery, and quilting.
